Cleaning Staff have the WOW Factor

27 November 2015 | Updated 01 January 1970

London based specialist in cleaning and hygiene, Julius Rutherfoord has joined forces with The WOW! Awards to launch a new recognition programme for its employees.

A wide range of businesses across the country now use the WOW! Awards scheme to show that their employees are valued and to help build a culture focussed on service. The awards are said to improve staff engagement and make it easier for customers to give positive feedback.

Chris Parkes, Operations Director at Julius Rutherfoord said: “The important work that cleaners perform each day often goes unrecognised. This is partly due to the fact that cleaning staff typically work outside of normal business hours and are rarely seen by the buildings’ users but also due to the history of the profession, they are often only noticed when things go wrong.

“We invest in our staff, encouraging the London Living Wage, career development and reward hard work. The WOW! Awards provide a platform for our cleaners to gain the recognition they deserve and encourage high standards”.

Nominations are independently judged by The WOW! Awards team. Anyone using Julius Rutherfoord can submit a WOW! Award nomination for a member of staff via www.julius-r.co.uk/wow-awards
