Final Thoughts on Technology in the Multigenerational Workplace

In the last in a series of videos looking at technologies that support the multigenerational workplace, NFS Technology Group and ThisWeekInFm discuss the challenges of implementation and offer some insights the successful adoption of latest technology.

While recognising the importance of technology in supporting flexible working, a number of challenges still need to be addressed; for example, data security and low adoption rates of some high cost technologies like video conferencing.

In the video, Brian and Luis discuss some of these challenges in the implementation area and provide a checklist of do’s and don’ts that will improve technology adoption and deliver a great staff and visitor experience.

Of critical importance is personalising the experience for the different generations so that technology is correctly embraced and good communication is encouraged, which all leads to better utilisation.

Says Luis de Souza, CEO of NFS: “The video series with ThisWeekInFM has proven to be a great opportunity to discuss a number of important topics in the evolution of the multigenerational workplace.

“Within each offering, we have tried to break down the challenges and offer solutions, culminating in this final video where have highlighted a number of key action points that support better workplace productivity and collaboration.

“We look forward to opinions, experience and comments so that together we can continue to deliver solutions that aid multigenerational workplace collaboration and create a great experience for staff and their guests.”

The video series is based on a recent white paper authored by Luis de Souza entitled: The Multigenerational workplace – five insights every CIO needs today.
