Qualifications
WAMITAB will be sharing stand B52 with the BPA to display its dedicated qualifications for the UK parking industry.
In 2013, WAMITAB and the BPA signed a partnership agreement to ensure that professionalism continues to be improved and supported by the provision of regulated, ‘quality driven’, occupationally led qualifications for the parking profession.
WAMITAB was selected to support the BPA as it is the leading awarding organisation specialising in total FM, with an ‘excellent’ track record spanning 25 years.
The qualifications, which are recommended by the BPA and currently available through three WAMITAB-approved centres – NSL Services; Parking Associates and Pass Training Consultancy, are WAMITAB Level Two Award for Parking Enforcement Officers (QCF) (Ofqual qualification number: 601/1781/3) and WAMITAB Level Three Award in Notice Processing (QCF) (Ofqual qualification number: 601/1941/X).
The three centres can tailor assessment plans to the needs of individual candidates and employers, making them extremely flexible. Members of the WAMITAB team will be available on the stand throughout the show to answers any questions about the qualifications, and explain the centre-approval process.
A first for this year’s event is the Parkex Hub, where visitors will be able to see presentations from industry figures and participate in discussions on important issues facing the parking sector, for free. Co-developed by the BPA and the Association for Town and City Management, the theme will be Future Proofing Parking.
