This September the Low Carbon Vehicle show promises to deliver on what is available in low carbon technology for vehicles.

LCV is run by Cenex, the UK's first centre of excellence for low carbon and fuel cell technologies.

This year’s event takes place on 9-10 September 2015, Millbrook. www.cenex-lcv.co.uk/2015

Cenex was established in 2005 as the UK’s first Centre of Excellence for Low Carbon and Fuel Cell technologies.  Today it operates as an independent not-for-profit consultancy specialising in the delivery of projects, supporting innovation and market development, focused on low carbon vehicles and associated energy infrastructure.

LCV has assistance from supporting partners including Innovate UK, Department of Business Innovation and Skills, Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership, Office for Low Emission Vehicles, Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, and UK Trade & Investment. It will comprise:

  • Technology exhibition split over three halls.

  • Extensive seminar programme.

  • Facilitated networking with the low carbon community.

  • Ride and drive of the latest research and development and commercially available vehicles

One of the exhibitors at the show is Autogas, claiming to be the UK’s largest supplier of LPG fuel. It will be displaying three LPG vehicles with the aim of highlighting the variety of businesses and fleets that could benefit from switching to this fuel.

Cenex states it ensures the decision makers of the UK industry attend the event with all major interested parties, key manufacturers, supply chain representatives and government officials from the UK present. The event attracts a range of customers (automotive 21%, energy and infrastructure 7%, government and local authority 10%, OEMs 17%, academia 11%) and senior managers including those at board level (38%) and middle management (27%).

Last year, LCV2014 set a new record attendance with 2,451 visitors, 181 exhibitors and 952 organisations represented.
