Barbour will be hosting its bi-annual legislation update webinar very soon.

The Legislation Update will have industry experts Mike Taylor, Technical Director for Health, Safety and Environmental issues at Santia Consulting and Kevin Bridges, Partner, Pinsent Masons LLP, as they discuss the recent and forthcoming legal changes, while also summarizing the effects of last year’s implementations.

Other key topics to be discussed include:

  • Corporate manslaughter.
  • The new HSG65 (Managing for Health and Safety) and INDG 417 (Leading Health and Safety at work).
  • The trend in Prosecution of management which leads to the focus on those doing risk assessments and method statements
