Leicester's Latest Transfer and Other Big Signings

Leicester transfer

Bellrock has relocated to a new office opposite the main railway station in Leicester city centre this week having also acquired a London based chartered surveying business, Stanley Hicks and Bristol based service charge management firm, Property Solutions (UK)

 

Integral - done deal

As expected, JLL announced this week that it has closed on the the acquisition of Integral UK, the facility maintenance, electrical engineering and mobile engineering service provider with more than 1,600 clients across 60,000 locations in the UK.

As previously announced, the acquisition has a total valuation of $330 million.

 

Cleaning up the House

The Houses of Parliament has renewed its contract with the Servest Group for five years with a possible extension by a further two. That's on top of the three years the FM service provider has already worked at the seat of Government More than 180 members of the Servest team will provide cleaning services across 13 core buildings across the Parliamentary Estate, including the Grade I listed Palace of Westminster.

 

Government appointment

Sheila Newton has joined OCS as MD for the Government Sector. This is a newly created role in the company’s UK senior line-up. Newton will be tasked to build on OCS’s expertise, continuing to grow the organisation’s eligibility as a supplier for the Crown Commercial Service Facilities Management Framework. She has never flown an attack helicopter.

 

Apache appointment

Meanwhile, Servest has appointed a new MD of its Ministry of Defence Division - Jason Etherington. His professional background includes everything from commanding the UK’s Apache Helicopter Force to senior Operations Officer and East Africa Lead at the Joint Force HQ - the MOD’s deployable crisis headquarters. Etherington has also worked closely with FM teams, particularly in his most recent role as Station Commander at Wattisham.

Facilities Management 2017, the 'other' annual exhibition (NEC from 21-23 March 2017), is inviting proposals for seminar sessions under the theme FM - the Business Enabler.
