The Best Companies Accreditation Standard follows the Michelin style star rating system for organisations that demonstrate ‘high levels of employee engagement’.
Based on the feedback received from staff, companies receive a Best Companies Index score (BCI). This determines their star rating compared to a fixed standard – 'one to watch' is good, one star is very good, two stars are outstanding and three stars are extraordinary.
Best Companies has been producing the Accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace. Every organisation that goes for Best Companies Accreditation is given a Best Companies Index score (BCI). This score is defined from employee’s responses to questions within the Best Companies survey.
“Clearly we are very pleased to be recognised in this way,” said Graeme Hughes, MD, Innovise Software. “I think it says a lot for the attitude and behaviour we have formed within the business; an openness and integrity to deliver change, the pursuit of excellence in all that we do and a commitment to keep improving ourselves and our products are the attributes I think most will value.”
