Dalkia plc, will be fully integrating with the Veolia UK parent group and adopting the Veolia brand name. The move has been described as enabling the company to offer its customers a wider range of environmental services in the areas of energy, water, waste and recycling.
While the name change reflects the closer integration of the group, owners and managers of commercial buildings will still receive the same service in developing, constructing and operating greener and more economical energy options across the UK. The corporate integration is seen as further strengthening the provider’s portfolio of energy and building management services that achieve energy efficiency and meet carbon reduction targets.
Pat Gilroy, will head the new team as Chief Operating Officer Industrial Customers UK and Country Head Ireland. “Dalkia has maintained the energy activity of Veolia for the past 13 years, and for brand clarity purposes, this change to align with the Veolia brand has been considered for a long time,” he explained. “We are delighted that it is finally becoming a reality and we are looking forward to a promising future as a fully integrated group.”
