The last few days saw Premier Moves deliver the biggest of three recent relocation and furniture installation projects on behalf of KPMG for one of their charity partners, Restless Development. The Premier team helped plan the new office requirements and delivered the relocation to the new premises of the global youth development charity in Waterloo. Premier also provided reused office furniture.  The assistance of KPMG and Premier saved Restless Development over £8,000 in relocation and furnishing costs, it is claimed.

Previous projects completed earlier this year with KPMG facilities team included the relocation of the Citizens UK team and GB Taekwondo team. Premier not only moved the Citizens UK team to their new premises but also remanufactured office furniture for 20 staff to provide them with sustainable bespoke office furniture.

Roisin Murphy, Senior Manager, Corporate Responsibility, KPMG commented: “KPMG has a strong culture of building capacity using our skills in community organisations as part of our corporate social responsibility programme.  We are very happy to be able to provide this practical support through our facilities team and by working with Premier, we can ensure the charities have the professional help they need so they can focus their budgets on the great work they do helping others”.

The Premier Group’s sustainable services division, Premier Sustain, incorporates The Giving Back Project which has distributed over 2,000 items of furniture, donated by FM clients, to charity initiatives in the last six months.
