Swanning into Vestas

International energy company Vestas, which is a specialist for wind energy, has appointed CBRE to provide integrated FM across its worldwide property portfolio.


The MSA agreement involves approximately 1 million sqm in 17 countries and CBRE is intended to become an extension of the Vestas global team delivering IFM services including M&E and special projects, across its sites spanning offices, production hubs and warehouses.


Regionally this covers Vestas’ property in the Americas, Asia Pacific, and EMEA. In Europe, this comprises the Nordic region, UK & Ireland, CEE, Belgium, France, Netherlands and Luxembourg.


Vestas was founded in 1945 with its headquarter in Denmark and central to its core business is the development, manufacturing, maintenance and installation of wind power plants internationally has expressed satisfaction with its decision to have a closer tie up with CBRE with Christian Gregersen, Vice President Real Estate & FM, stating “we are happy to continue and extend our collaboration with CBRE with the integrated partnership model for FM worldwide”.


The business relationship goes back to 2011 when CBRE began delivering advisory and transaction services to Vestas. “We’re exceptionally proud to build on and expand our relationship to include integrated FM in 17 countries,” explained Guy Holden, President – Enterprise Accounts, EMEA Global Workplace Solutions (GWS), CBRE. “This is testament to our global scale, offering and ‘one team’ ethos. We look forward to continuing to provide high quality services, under the strictest safety standards, to each Vestas site.”
