Cordant Security has been awarded a five-year contract to provide manned security services to ScottishPower.

The deal will see the company provide 24/7 security across all of the energy provider’s locations within the UK.

Cordant will provide a full range of manned security services, including mobile patrols, keyholding and alarm response. The security specialist has already implemented an internal training programme for the employees working across ScottishPower locations, while a dedicated Account Manager has been appointed to ensure all operations are delivered efficiently.

“This is a significant contract win for Cordant Security that reinforces our position,” stated Brendan Musgrove, MD, Cordant Security. “By using our specialist knowledge and experience, we can supply world class security that can provide value to any organisation.”

Cordant Security is currently the eighth largest security company within the UK, employing more than 4,000 personnel working across a wide range of industry sectors.
