ThisWeekinFM ROCKED

11 April 2014 | Updated 01 January 1970

Oh What a Night…If you can remember it, you probably weren’t there as they say.

Yesterday evening ThisWeekinFM sponsored and held the first of our purely social events labelled ‘ThisWeekinFM ROCKS’.

Fully sold out
This music and entertainment (M&E) event was held in The Pipeline Club in the City of London and showcased the amazing talents of The GT40s.
What a great evening it proved to be as we introduced the band who went on to play two sets of incredible music as revellers danced, yelled and generally joined in having a good time. The basement club started to feel like the legendary Marquee – more than a bit sweaty, filled to the rafters and with a band trying their hardest to bring the house down. The first set lasted 50 minutes and the second ran to two encores.
An old fashioned pound-ago raffle raised over £200 for The Samaritans.
ThisWeekinFM would like to thank everyone who supported the event and helping to creating a real club atmosphere - we will be looking to hold additional events culminating in ‘ThisWeekinFM Rocks Around the Christmas Tree’. Keep your eyes peeled and watch this space for details.
