Will You Take the Pledge?

The Brake Pledge is a flexible driver training resource for companies that want to engage their drivers with positive behavioural change.

The Pledge is based on six key areas of road safety, addressing the specific issues that face at-work drivers as a high-risk group on our roads. The Pledge provides training and tools to help employers engage any employee who drives with these key safety messages.

Brake has been running the Pledge since 2001.

Attend a Pledge training course

In the UK, Brake runs full day Pledge training courses for fleet managers, driver trainers, and anyone else with responsibility for managing at-work drivers. The training covers six key areas of occupational road risk, what employers should be doing to manage their risk, and how to successfully educate and engage drivers with road safety messages. All attendees will receive access to Brake's toolkit of Pledge resources, which includes advice for managers on delivering and implementing different areas of the Pledge, and also educational tools such as videos and posters that can be used with drivers.

Pledge training runs from 10.30am until 3.30pm (lunch and refreshments are provided for all attendees). £90.00 plus VAT secures a place. Brake can also visit your premises to provide bespoke Pledge workshops for drivers.
