An introduction to the Legal Sustainability Alliance
The LSA is a collaborative network of the UK’s leading law firms who work together to take positive action to improve the environmental sustainability of their operations and to measure, manage and reduce their carbon emissions.
Free to join it offers members of whatever size – from the smallest to the largest – a chance to benefit from shared ideas, information and advice. We provide tools and resources to help firms at whatever stage of the journey you may be at, from just starting out to developing sophisticated staff engagement programmes.
We support Facilities Managers, CSR leads, environmental champions as well as fee earners and partners in law firms to take action to make their organisations more sustainable. The collaborative nature of our network means members benefit from one another’s expertise and experience. Our peer to peer networking allows you to create better sustainable solutions for your firm without re-inventing the wheel.
We welcome all law firms in the UK into membership, as well as in-house counsel in other businesses. We currently have 139 members and more join every year.
The LSA is made possible because we have support from leading law firms and The Law Society of England and Wales whose financial contributions ensure the network is available free of charge to all members. Thanks goes to these firms:
