Little Discoverers is primarily for pre-school children within West Norfolk and the surrounding area who have movement difficulties and delayed development.

They provide a unique and holistic form of early education inspired by methods used at the Peto Institute of Conductive Education in Hungary. This form of education is designed to stimulate the child's senses and encourage self-learning through activities and experiences that are fun for both children and their parents.

Their specially trained staff work together in groups of up to seven children with their parent/carer during weekly sessions. Each session lasts approximately two hours including a short break for a drink and snack.

The sessions are carefully planned to involve the children in programmes that address all aspects of their development (physical, social, emotional and understanding). These are chosen to make these sessions fun. Development is encouraged through play, songs, art and craft.

Currently their service is provided free of charge. To view extracts from a Little Discoverers session and hear about WNSfP from the parents and staff, please click here.
