NJC Becomes IRATA Member

NJC (Not Just Cleaning Ltd) has passed its recent audit to become an IRATA (International Rope Access Trade Association) member.

IRATA is recognised as the world’s leading authority on industrial rope access and its techniques are used in a wide range of repair, maintenance, inspection, cleaning and access work. IRATA’s code of practise, audits and training focus on all aspects of rope access management and ensuring safe systems of work.

Paul Crilly, MD at NJC said: “IRATA standards lead the way in safe working at height. NJC is one of only a few UK rope access cleaning providers to become a member, illustrating our continued focus on moving our health and safety standards beyond compliance.”

Total Solutions Group's SOLVED365

Total Solutions Group launched its cleaning franchise proposition, SOLVED365, at the Facilities Show.

SOLVED365 franchisees will provide services including 24/7 disaster recovery, window cleaning, carpet cleaning and hard floor restoration, allowing the company to support its customers in all areas of the UK.

A highly controlled model will be employed, similar to that of fast food retailers. Equipment, processes, chemicals, training and marketing will all be provided centrally, ensuring consistent, high quality standards and protection of the Total Solutions Group brand and reputation.

Delaware North Enters Arena

Delaware North, a global player in hospitality and food service, has entered into a 20-year partnership to provide all catering and hospitality services at Coventry's Ricoh Arena.

Home to Premiership Rugby team Wasps, Wasps Netball and Coventry City Football Club, the Ricoh hosts around 1.6 million visitors annually in over 20,000 square meters of space encompassing the Erickson Exhibition Hall, meeting rooms, two restaurants, a Double Tree By Hilton Hotel and one of the UK's largest casinos.

Ricoh Arena will join Delaware a portfolio that includes the capital's second tier of football stadia (behind the new White Hart Lane) - Wembley National Stadium, the Emirates Stadium and the London Stadium.

Cloudfm JV With Optima Facility

Cloudfm has formed a joint venture with Spanish market provider, Optima Facility. The new entity will carry the Cloudfm brand.

Jeff Dewing, CEO of Cloudfm, said: “The Spanish FM market is large, growing and complex, and we see considerable opportunities for our approach to facilities management. Partnering with Optima Facility, we will be able to combine their intimate knowledge of the Spanish FM market with what we believe is the most advanced FM solution available globally.”
