The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers will collaborate with UK Construction Week for the upcoming UKCW London event at ExCeL from 7-9 May 2025.
CIBSE will be part of the event’s Net-Zero Hub, contributing knowledge on energy-efficient building systems and sustainable design practices and the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard.
“We are thrilled to partner with CIBSE for UK Construction Week’s London event,” said Neil Gaisford, Divisional Director – Construction at UK Construction Week.
“CIBSE’s extensive expertise in the built environment and their leadership in advancing the Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard will bring essential insights to the Net Zero Hub. This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to foster innovation, sustainability, and knowledge exchange within the construction sector.”
UK Construction Week London seeks to unify the whole construction supply chain and serve as a space for built environment professionals to network and gain insights from leading industry voices.
This year’s show will see keynote speeches from Shadow Housing Minister, Kevin Hollinrake MP, Andrew Watkin, Transport and Estates Development Manager, Aston Villa FC and Chris Oldham, Senior Policy and Programme Manager, City of London.
Julie Godefroy, CIBSE Head of Net-Zero said: “We are delighted with this partnership, which is very aligned with key themes of interest to our members, and which gives us an opportunity to engage with a wider audience”
