Q3 Acquires Newtons Group

FM company Q3 has announced its acquisition of commercial property management contractor Newtons Group.

The acquisition includes 100 per cent of the share capital of Newtons Group Ltd., a London and south-east based company delivering M&E and associated hard building services.

The acquisition of the Newtons Group introduces a technical services offering to Q3, which specialises in soft services.

BDO LLP advised on the sale, led by Satvir Bungar, Head of Facilities Sector M&A at BDO, and supported by Gabriella Eeles, Senior Manager, M&A. 

Newtons Group Ltd will retain their trading name within the Q3 Group and Harry Leeson will continue to run the operation as Managing Director.

Commenting on the move, Martyn Freeman CEO of Q3 said, “This is a major strategic step in our progress to becoming a significant player in the FM sector, strengthening our range of service lines and capabilities, and moving us up to the next level where we want to be.”

Harry Leeson added: “We are looking forward to embracing the values of the Q3 organisation and working with the team to help realise the company’s future ambitions.”
