November 27 saw the second Smart Building Technologies Summit convene in London organised by Verdantix and sharing insights on software, apps, smart lighting, remote management, solutions for agile workplaces, virtual reality and data analytics.

Hot topics affecting real estate such Agility and Wellbeing - the Role of Tech in Improving Productivity and Space, Agility and Activity-Based Working were all on the agenda of a day that ran from 8:30am until 7:00pm ( including a cocktail reception).

Other topics included Value in Building Technology Innovation?; Pilot Projects to Value Delivery - Mastering IoT Tech Adoption; and Maximising the Value of Mobile Apps in Real Estate.

Verdantix also revealed research that shows the majority of real estate investors, asset managers, and corporate executives believe technology is a clear opportunity to respond to these topics, optimise their workplaces and improve the value of their buildings.
