Embracing digital change can be intimidating, but the COVID-19 pandemic has created additional urgency for FMs to digitise many of their processes. Gaining demonstrable value from digital technologies for clients is very much part of the remit of a facilities and workplace manager, and the digital revolution shows no signs of slowing.
Additionally, as companies reopen their physical offices and rethink their building operation strategies, technology will be a key component. From HVAC automation to data security and employee wellbeing, several tech-led solutions are already predicted to lead the way.
What will the future of technology adoption in facilities and workplace management look like? Should FMs be making better use of digital twin technology, robots and virtual front-of-house management?
The data will be analysed by three leading European universities alongside FM House and findings will be published on ThisWeekinFM's Education & Training section once the report has been completed.
The survey closes on Monday 7th June 2021.
