Domestic Building Services Panel Integrates With CIBSE

Domestic Building Services Panel Integrates With CIBSE
27 October 2025

The Domestic Building Services Panel has now formally migrated into CIBSE, becoming the CIBSE Domestic Building Services Panel.

The Domestic Building Services Panel (DBSP), known as the “association of associations”, provides technical guidance for specifiers and technicians involved in the design and installation of heating systems in domestic and light commercial buildings.

The panel comprises over 12 member organisations representing the mechanical, regulatory and training sectors.

The migration means that dedicated resources within CIBSE will be available to support the domestic sector. CIBSE has recruited a Domestic Sector Technical Manager (funded by DBSP) within its technical team to develop and coordinate guidance and monitor regulatory and policy developments.

“As the CIBSE DBSP, we’re bringing together expertise and credibility to support the domestic building services community with trusted guidance and best practice”, said Andy Mathews, Chair of CIBSE DBSP.
