Farnborough Airport has renewed its cleaning contract with Peartree Cleaning, a provider of professional cleaning and facilities solutions. This follows a successful partnership delivering consistently high standards across the airport’s operational estate.
The £1million per annum contract reflects Peartree’s proven ability to operate within a complex, security-critical aviation environment whilst maintaining a high-level of presentation across the terminal, lounge, hangar and 100 on-site office spaces. The service is delivered day and night, supporting the airport’s 24/7 operation and customer experience.
Service innovation is reported to play a key role in the partnership, including the introduction of the SkyVac cleaning system to enhance the high-level cleaning across the facility, and Dryft for floor cleaning in high traffic areas.
The service also supports Farnborough Airport’s sustainability objectives through efficient resource use and environmentally responsible cleaning practices aligned with Peartree’s wider ESG commitments and decarbonisation.
Stuart Conroy, Commercial Director added, “Farnborough is a world-class private aviation hub with fluctuating passenger volumes and high-profile visitors, Farnborough Airport required a cleaning partner capable of responding flexibly to the demands of an aviation environment. We have consistently demonstrated a strong understanding of their operational needs and the high standards expected by their passengers, guests & customers. We look forward to continuing our partnership."
