Sescom, an FM contractor based in Gdańsk, has bought M&E company PCB Technical Solutions Limited.
The move will allow Sescom to expand its operations into the UK, with its ultimate aim to become the first-choice supplier of technical facilities management services in main European markets. The company will be able to access new retail customers in the UK and extend the existing international contracts to the British market. Sescom also plans to double the number of foreign clients.
Sescom intends to add energy management and facility asset management services to PCB’s portfolio of services. PCB already offers technical maintenance of commercial and industrial facilities, and implements installation projects for the retail industry, mainly for clothing chains, pharmacies, distributors of electronics as well as for food producers and public institutions.
Sławomir Halbryt, President of Sescom SA said: “At the end of 2022, we were working for over 60 international clients on 25 domestic markets, including in the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Austria and Italy. We have provided services to over 40,000 facilities. This allowed us to gain a wide range of experience. However, we did not have sufficient service resources in the British market to become a significant player in the area of FM services there.
“For several years, we have been looking for a reliable partner who, using our experience, international customer base and a developed service model, would strengthen Sescom’s position in the local market. The acquisition of PCB will significantly expand the group of Sescom’s customers in the UK, and thanks to a productive synergy, will lead to a significant growth of our group on the international market”
