Is ED&I dropping down the FM agenda? We met with Emma McLaughlin-Edwards from Constructing Rainbows to find out.
Emma is an equality, diversity and inclusion consultant with a facilities management and engineering background. Having spent several years working operationally in FM, right through to board level, Emma uses her industry knowledge to help embed ED&I principles within organisations in the built environment.
The landscape of ED&I in 2025 is undoubtedly changing, with the rollback of inclusion initiatives in the US causing concern that global progress in equity, diversity, and inclusion is under threat.
Emma joined us to discuss why scaling back on DEI efforts is a false economy and facilities management's progress as an industry in embedding ED&I principles.
