The Cleaning Show’s annual window cleaning competition will return to London’s ExCeL for 2025.

Cleaning professionals from all over the globe will showcase their speed, skill, and precision for a £1,000 cash prize.

The current Window Cleaning World Champion Terry “Turbo” Burrows, who has held the fastest clean record of 9.16 seconds for 29 years, will be looking to maintain his title.

In 2024, Terry’s daughter Aliscia Burrows posted a time of 16.13 seconds, beating the previous record by just 0.15 seconds, to be crowned as the new women’s window cleaning world record holder. 

The competition is open to all professional window cleaners who will be provided with:

• A standard 12” or 300 mm Squeegee with fixed handle.
• A standard 14” or 350 mm applicator (T.Bar) with fixed handle 
• A standard 14” Applicator cover
• A water bucket of 2.5 gal or 9 litre capacity
• One litre of neutral window cleaning detergent
• One scrim - : 3ft square or 1 square metre

Each contestant will clean three windows, with each pane of glass measuring 45” x 45” or 1143 mm x 1143mm within the frame of the window. Interested parties can sign up here to compete.
