The Cleaning Show will return to Excel London from 16–18 March 2027, bringing suppliers, buyers and operational leaders together as cleaning teams face rising expectations around hygiene, staffing, sustainability and cost control.
The event will give professionals responsible for cleaning and hygiene the opportunity to compare products in person, test new equipment, hear how other organisations are tackling shared challenges and identify solutions for their own operations.
The 2027 show follows a record London edition in 2025, which welcomed more than 8,000 visitors. Its return comes as the UK cleaning and hygiene sector approaches £72 billion in value (British Cleaning Council, 2026), with cleaning recognised as an increasingly important part of infection control, workplace experience, environmental performance and efficient building management.
The 2027 conference programme will cover the economic and regulatory forces impacting the sector, including employment legislation, ESG strategies and net zero commitments.
Panels and keynotes will explore the use of data, software and connected equipment to improve productivity, visibility and workforce management, alongside practical sessions on training, skills development and attracting the next generation of cleaning professionals.
Sustainability and social value will also remain central themes in the 2027 agenda. Speakers here will talk on the impact of environmental regulation, how businesses can involve employees in sustainability work, and the role the sector can play in creating more accessible routes into employment through partnerships with schools and local communities.
The exhibition will feature suppliers across machinery, chemicals, consumables, washroom hygiene, software, robotics and facilities services.
Visitors will be able to assess developments in autonomous equipment, data-led cleaning management, connected washroom systems, sustainable consumables and concentrated chemical systems. Live equipment demonstrations will enable buyers to see how products perform before committing budget or changing established processes.
The Cleaning Show will also strengthen its partnership with the British Institute of Cleaning Science, BICSc, for 2027 to support educational content around cleaning science, technical competence, qualifications and workforce development.
Paul Sweeney, Event Director of The Cleaning Show, said: “The cleaning sector is one of the UK's most capable industries, with growing responsibility for public health, sustainability and the experience of buildings used by millions every day.”
Sweeney continued: “The Cleaning Show gives the industry the time and space to build on its own strength. Visitors can see what is new, compare suppliers, learn from people dealing with the same opportunities and challenges, and leave with practical options for their organisations. We look forward to hosting the biggest edition yet in March 2027 and hope to see you there.”
