Ivan Morley, FM Director at Thermatic, a provider of facilities management services, has been confirmed as one of Brand Bolton’s newest WE ARE BOLTON Ambassadors.

Thermatic has been delivering electrical planned preventative maintenance in council and school buildings across the borough since 2025. Becoming an Ambassador reflects Morley’s interest in and impact on Bolton on both a personal and professional level. 

The WE ARE BOLTON Ambassadors programme brings together anyone with an interest in, impact on and passion for all things Bolton, to showcase and champion Bolton on a local and worldwide stage.

WE ARE BOLTON Ambassadors are the face, the voice, and the heartbeat of Bolton. They can tell the story of Bolton through every interaction they have, whether that’s with colleagues, customers, clients, family or friends. They can embed the Brand within their businesses and organisations and share positive Bolton stories in their networks through social media and conversations.

Morley joins over 320 Brand Ambassadors from Bolton businesses, community organisations, education providers, healthcare, leisure, culture and creative sectors who are sharing their Bolton stories and promoting all that Bolton has to offer. 

Speaking about becoming an Ambassador, Morley said: “I’m honoured to step into the role. As a business we are passionate about delivering social value and our work in Bolton is a great example of that in practice, with much more to come. We’ve brought in apprentices, created new skilled roles and kept spend in the borough by using local supply chain partners. We don’t simply want to operate as a contractor; we want to actively contribute to what’s going on in Bolton, and that includes championing Bolton and embedding the brand values in what we do, for the benefit of the company and wider Bolton.” 

Catherine Price, Place Brand Manager at Bolton Council said: “We are delighted that Ivan is joining us and are looking forward to the perspective he brings to our brand activity. Bolton Means Business; we have a pioneering and innovative spirit and Ivan and Thermatic are great examples of this.  National and international brands are making it here and our thriving business community embodies the determination, ingenuity and character that makes Bolton so special.”
