Atlas has acquired the Lancashire-based soft FM services company Aston Services Group.
Aston Services Group (ASG) is a £20 million turnover company whose clients include Savills, Workman, APP and Bellrock. Operating in the North of England and the Midlands, 668 employees work across its cleaning and security contracts.
ASG is also a Recognised Service Provider with the Living Wage Foundation and signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant.
Atlas hopes to use the acquisition to strengthen its presence in the North of England. Chris Wisely, Atlas Group CEO, said: “We are delighted to bring ASG into our Atlas family. We see ASG as a regional leader with a reputation for quality. This grows our existing cleaning and security offering in the North and Midlands; and the warm and family style culture of ASG fits nicely with our own. We look forward to working with our newest colleagues as we seek to create happiness for more customers.”
Nick Atkinson, Managing Director of Aston Services Group, added:“All of us at ASG are very excited about the benefits this deal brings to both us and Atlas. From an ASG point of view, this new arrangement will certainly help us grow the company and offer an even brighter future for all our talented team. Atlas’ scale also allows us to offer our high-quality services to even more prospective clients right across the UK.”
