• BGES Group Acquired by learnd Limited

Building management solutions company BGES has been acquired by learnd Limited, as part of its plan to become the leading energy management provider in Europe.

learned has been on the acquisition trail since 2020, acquiring companies such as Aimteq, Comfort Controls and Complete Energy Controls. The company is actively pursuing partnerships in the building management systems market in mainland Europe.

BGES operates in Yorkshire, the Midlands and London with offices in Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester and Southwark, London.

“The growing demand for energy and carbon reduction in the UK and beyond means there is an increased demand for effective BMS and energy management solutions” said Gareth Barber, Majority Shareholder & Director of BGES Group.

“By joining learnd, BGES Group can increase our reach and resources to help meet that demand, better serve our customers, and expand our efforts throughout the UK and into Europe.”

In addition to the BGES deal, learned announced this week that it would also acquire Dublin-based BMS installer Ashdown Controls Limited.
