- City of London Corporation Extends Security Contract With ISS
07 October 2024
ISS’ longstanding partnership with the City of London Corporation has been extended for five years.
There is also the option to extend this for a further four years. ISS previously announced a two-year extension to their contract with the City of London Corporation in 2022, and this extension will now see the partnership continue until at least 2029.
The contract is worth around £5 million annually and incorporates security and front-of-house services at City of London Corporation sites. The estate covers a significant commercial office portfolio, as well as the Barbican Centre, Guildhall, Mansion House and Tower Bridge.
Chris Martin, Key Account Portfolio Director at ISS UK, said: ”We’re delighted to continue working with the City of London Corporation for a further nine years, providing security and front-of-house services alongside our separate IFM contract for the City Schools. This contract has grown into a true partnership between our two organisations where focus has always been on people, service delivery and making a positive social impact.”
“The new contract allows us to build on such a strong foundation and further deliver for the people who interface with the corporation, be its members, employees and the general public who visit the Square Mile. I’m excited to see what we can achieve together.”
