Technical services provider Imtech has announced the completed sale of Suir Engineering Ltd to the British private equity investor Duke Street.
Imtech is jointly owned by Dalkia and EDF Energy, and specialises in mechanical and electrical engineering services, technical facilities management, systems integration & digital services and energy performance contracts & energy services. Imtech acquired Suir Engineering in 2007 for a reported €30 million.
Suir Engineering is active in Ireland, Denmark and Sweden in the data centre, pharmaceutical and renewable power generation markets.
The deal is intended to “prioritise and refocus” EDF’s strategic activities.
