Imtech has signed an agreement to sell Suir Engineering to private equity investor Duke Street.
Technical services provider Imtech, which is jointly owned by Dalkia and EDF Energy, acquired Suir Engineering in 2007 for a reported €30 million. The sale is part of the company’s strategy to “refocus Dalkia and Imtech on their core areas.”
Suir Engineering is an engineering company specialising in mechanical and electrical works, active in Ireland, Denmark and Sweden in the data centre, pharmaceutical and renewable power generation markets.
Duke Street invests in the core sectors of consumer, healthcare, industrial and service sectors, and their portfolio includes Ardent Hire Solutions and Great Rail Journeys.
Sylvie Jéhanno, CEO of Dalkia, said: “For five years, Suir Engineering has experienced steady growth while maintaining the highest standards in safety and quality. We are very grateful to the Suir Engineering teams for their strong engagement and professionalism and wish them a great future under the new ownership of Duke Street.”
