Planon’s investment will allow Ubigreen to accelerate its international expansion and strengthen its market position.
Pierre Guelen, Founder and CEO of Planon Group said, “Around the world, companies of every size are facing the challenge to reduce the environmental impact of their buildings and deliver on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals and net-zero carbon emission targets as recommended or required by authorities. For them, getting a solid handle on the resource consumption of their buildings is key to achieving these goals and moving confidently into a more sustainable future. Adding Ubigreen’s proven digital solutions to Planon’s existing Energy Management & Sustainability software solution will open up more opportunities for current and future customers to easily deploy energy consumption measurement and optimise their buildings’ energy performance.”
Pierre-Olivier Bessol, General Director of Ubigreen added, “This is a great opportunity for us to join forces with Planon: we will be able to benefit from the expertise of a renowned international group to develop Ubigreen's offers. With this alliance we aim to advance our shared objective on smart sustainable buildings to support our customers in this major transformation towards more eco-responsible real estate, at the service of its occupants.”
Julien Meriaudeau, President of Ubigreen said, “We are pleased to welcome Planon as majority shareholder in Ubigreen. This partnership with Planon will allow Ubigreen to expand its geographical reach and potential client base beyond its current position in the French market. Together, the two companies will provide a broad range of sustainability solutions to help clients accelerate the energy transition of their buildings and make them eco-responsible.”
