Nearly 1000 professionals from across the workplace and facilities management industry gathered in London on Thursday to celebrate the 2026 IWFM Impact Awards. The awards recognise the people, partnerships and projects making a lasting difference across the profession.
Hosted by broadcaster and comedian Patrick Kielty at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London, the ceremony presented awards to this year’s winners, who represented the breadth and growing influence of workplace and facilities management. Their achievements ranged from improving workplace experience, wellbeing and social value to developing talent, strengthening partnerships, applying technology and responding to environmental challenges.
Opening the ceremony, IWFM Chair Andrew Hulbert highlighted the value created by workplace and facilities professionals focusing on the people who deliver outstanding work every day. Chair of Judges Sarah Hodge congratulated the winners and finalists, and spoke of the profession’s potential to impact wider society.
Hulbert said: “Tonight, we celebrate achievement, innovation and excellence. But above all, we celebrate people. The people whose competence and skill make our workplaces work better, our organisations strong and resilient and our profession more respected with every passing year.”
Hodge said: “Together, we can help solve our own skills crisis while also becoming a critical part of the solution to some of society's biggest challenges, reducing the number of young people not in education, employment or training, creating pathways to long-term prosperity and improving social mobility. Together, we can [show that] in addition to transforming organisations, better, facilities management can transform lives, strengthen communities and power economic growth.”
