Apleona Wins 10-Year DHL Group FM Deal

Apleona Wins 10-Year DHL Group FM Deal
09 April 2025

Apleona will provide technical and infrastructural FM services for DHL Group’s German portfolio.

The deal encompasses more than 3,700 buildings and more than 15,000 pick-up locations and parcel lockers.

Under the agreement, which starts in May 2025, around 850 employees who previously managed the portfolio through a joint venture will transfer to Apleona. Going forward, this team will work exclusively on the DHL key account within Apleona's International Corporate Clients (ICC) division.

Dr Jochen Keysberg, CEO of Apleona said: "The long-term service contract is a significant vote of confidence from the DHL Group in our performance and in our many years of experience and expertise in the successful transfer of client company employees to customer accounts and the retention of their knowledge and experience for our customers.

Michael Engel, COO of Apleona and responsible for the ICC key account business, added: “The DHL Group was looking for an FM service partner who could guarantee the high quality and exclusivity of the FM services throughout Germany. This is both an honour and a challenge, but one that we will be able to meet successfully. It also means that we can warmly welcome 850 highly qualified new colleagues from the former joint venture company to our ICC organisation and to Apleona.”
