Bartlett Mitchell Acquired by Westbury Street Holdings

Contract caterer Bartlett Mitchell has been acquired by Westbury Street Holdings, who own a number of other UK foodservice brands.

Westbury Street Holdings (WSH), is behind a number of successful foodservice brands operating in the UK and Europe including Baxterstorey, Searcys and Benugo, provider of high street premium cafes and restaurants.

CEO, Wendy Bartlett has cited wanting to make sure that “ we are in a strong position once the market recovers” as the reason behind the deal.

 

“This is not a decision I have made lightly. As you can imagine, I feel emotional and at the same time excited for the opportunities and possibilities this will bring for our team and clients. And I am looking forward to working together on this next exciting chapter of our story.”

Team Will Remain in Their Roles

 

Bartlett Mitchell will continue to operate under its own independent operational structure, and the team will remain in their roles. Provenance of ingredients and supply chain will also remain the same.

“This is not a decision I have made lightly,” said Bartlett. “As you can imagine, I feel emotional and at the same time excited for the opportunities and possibilities this will bring for our team and clients. And I am looking forward to working together on this next exciting chapter of our story.”

Bartlett Mitchell operates over 90 contracts throughout the UK, providing services including; staff restaurants, executive dining services, hospitality services, café & delicatessen services, conference catering services, front of house, reception and vending services.
