Read Full ArticleCBFM, the Northeast-based HVAC specialist, has completed the installation of 4 x 800 litre indirect cylinders with destratification pumps at Cassaton House in Sunderland.
“The site had a very inefficient and outdated cylinder system for delivering hot water, so we recommended and installed 4 x 800 litre indirect cylinders with destratification pumps to always ensure plentiful supply of hot water, day, and night,” explained Dean Baardman from CBFM.
The installation improved efficiency, comfort and hot water provision for the building.
Cassaton House is a student residence in Sunderland's city centre, close to the University of Sunderland’s main campus. It includes 24 hour surveillance, a fully equipped on site gym, games room, study room, a cinema room with projector and large screen and even a “Chef’s room” which is a fully equipped kitchen with large dining table, allowing student to host their own dining events.
Dean continued: “Our work on site included removing the redundant equipment from site and correctly installing the new kit. Our mechanical & technical engineers & operatives and supply chain worked hard to deliver a quality project, and we are really pleased to deliver a very tidy job.”
The company is looking to expand its roster of services, including site surveys, calculation drawings, installation and maintenance work schedules, and emergency callouts. CBFM will also look to recruit more trained technicians.
