Dalkia UK will deliver hard FM services at four properties on behalf of the Royal Academy of Arts.

In a three-year contract, Dalkia UK will provide electrical, mechanical and fabric services at four properties in Kensington, Mitcham and two in Piccadilly on behalf of the Royal Academy of Arts (RA). This includes Burlington House and the newly-linked Burlington Gardens

Dalkia UK was selected for the contract as they demonstrated the ability to meet the academy’s future commitment to delivering a financially sound, culturally and educationally renowned and environmentally sustainable experience.

The team will focus on maintaining and improving the environmental conditions in the galleries and supporting the RA in achieving their net-zero target ahead of the UK government’s deadline of 2050.

Stu Brown, Business Unit Director at Dalkia, said: “We are delighted the Royal Academy of Arts chose us to take care of their buildings in the heart of London, which house some of the finest art exhibitions in the country. The RA is also home to the UK’s longest established art school – it’s our genuine privilege to become part of the RA team.”

Natasha Mitchell, Director of Corporate Services at the Royal Academy of Arts added: “We are pleased to be working with Dalkia and look forward to collaborating with their teams over the coming years in the care and maintenance of our heritage estate.”
