• CBRE Wins Hard FM Contract at University of Glasgow

CBRE has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver planned and reactive hard facilities management services for the University of Glasgow. 

The contract to maintain the university’s 300+ building estate will begin in April 2023. This will include the historic Gilmorehill campus in the West End of the city, which features the Gilbert Scott building and its iconic bell tower.

Barry Morton,  Director of Facilities Services at The University of Glasgow, said: “I see this as a new beginning for the delivery of property maintenance where our focus will be proactive, preventative repairs. Together with CBRE, we expect to transform the colleague experience when faced with reactive maintenance requirements and deliver quicker, high-quality repairs across our campuses.”

Ian A Campbell, Executive Director of Estates at The University of Glasgow, continued: “The quality and pace of our maintenance services are key priorities for the University of Glasgow Estates' team. We are delighted to work with CBRE, the global commercial real estate services leader, to ensure that our campuses offer the best facilities for our world-changing students and colleagues.”
