Mute's new headquarters in Poland is Europe's first office built entirely using a modular system.
The project showcases how modular office systems can reduce waste and CO2 emissions by avoiding common fit-out elements. The entire space was assembled in two weeks.

The office acts as a living showroom for Mute, an adaptable office architecture company based in Warsaw. Covering more than 840 m², the space is an example of a rapid, tool-free office configuration. Each modular unit comes pre-fitted with built-in wiring, lighting, sockets and ventilation.
“In a time when average lease terms are shortening and conventional refurbishments generate tonnes of waste; the challenge is clear: today’s offices need to be both flexible and environmentally friendly. Our new headquarters prove that one doesn’t exclude the other,” said Szymon Rychlik, Managing Director at Mute.
Mute’s office features 17 defined but moveable zones, providing space for meetings, focused work and hot desking, responding to the need to adapt to changing work models.
Landlord and Building Manager Hines also praised the project. Bartosz Kostrzewa, Director of Development Management at Hines Polska, said: “Mute proposed an innovative approach to office design, based entirely on the Mute Modular system. The final result and efficiency of implementation confirmed the versatility and flexibility of this solution, as well as its potential to generate time and cost savings for both current and future tenants. From our perspective, it also represents a significant simplification in managing modern office space.”
