Read Full ArticleAs the news broke that construction giant ISG was going into administration, people have been sharing messages of support on social media to help the thousands of workers who have been made redundant.
On Friday 20 September, joint administrators EY said in a statement that ISG’s UK operations would cease trading with immediate effect. No further work will be undertaken on existing UK contracts. This includes construction, fit-out, retail and engineering contracts, and government projects such as prison refurbishments.
Timothy Vance, Alan Michael Hudson and Dan Edkins were appointed as joint administrators of the following companies:
Whilst 2,200 workers have been made redundant, 200 employees will remain at the business to assist the administrators.
