Maintenance Partners for EV Charger Network Needed

Maintenance Partners for EV Charger Network Needed
13 June 2023

A UK EV charge point manufacturer is looking for new maintenance partners to service over 2,000 installations.

Compleo Charging Solutions UK’s tender process aims to source operational and maintenance partners for its network of electric vehicle chargers across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The companies will be required to service and maintain over 2,000 commercial EV installations between them.

UK EV Infrastructure Strategy

Under the UK electric vehicle infrastructure strategy, the government aims for the UK to have around 300,000 public charge points as a minimum by 2030.

2022 statistics show that there are currently around 29,600 public charge points in the UK of which over 5,400 are “rapid” and able to charge an electric vehicle in around 30 minutes.

Maintenance Tender Opportunity

Compleo is looking to hear from companies that have a team of field-based engineers who are looking to move into the fast-growing EV charging industry, as well as those with EV experience.

“With significant growth planned over the next three years we are looking for regional and national partners, ideally with EV experience who can help maintain our customer SLA’s and provide a blend of reactive, scheduled and preventative works,” said Compleo UK CEO, Valentin Scheltow.

Compleo supplies EV chargers to franchised dealers across the UK, including Audi and Volvo. They also partner with APCOA Parking AG, and have installed over 450 EV charging points at Network Rail customer car parks.
