Martin Walker brings over 20 years of experience in the hygiene and personal care industry, having held several senior roles at Essity, one of the world's leading health and hygiene companies. At Essity, Walker played a pivotal role in driving innovation and market growth across various regions, positioning the company as a leader in sustainable hygiene solutions. This, in addition to similar roles at Newell Rubbermaid and SCJ Professional, gives Walker a strong and unique experience of the professional hygiene market.
In his new role at The Cheeky Panda, Walker will be responsible for spearheading growth initiatives, leading the company’s global expansion, and strengthening its position in the fast-evolving eco-friendly consumer goods market. His extensive industry knowledge, combined with his passion for sustainability, makes him a perfect fit for The Cheeky Panda, a brand that has rapidly gained popularity for its dedication to environmental impact reduction.

The Cheeky Panda continues to disrupt the traditional hygiene market with its use of renewable bamboo as a key raw material, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional tissue and hygiene products. Walker's appointment is set to further strengthen the company's position as a leading player in the eco-friendly sector.
William Martin has announced the promotion of Derrick Milligan to Director of Consultancy. With over 15 years’ experience in safety consultancy management, he brings a wealth of expertise to the position, as well as in-depth knowledge of technical operations and account management.
Derrick’s promotion comes after six successful years at William Martin, during which he has been instrumental in delivering outstanding safety consultancy services. In his new role, he will manage operations across multiple teams, leading the delivery of innovative, reliable solutions in a rapidly evolving market.

NHS Property Services has announced Nick Moberly as its new Chair and Ian Playford as Non Executive Director following a successful recruitment and approval process.
Following a competitive appointment process and approval from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), Nick Moberly steps into the role of Chair from 1 October. He takes over from Interim Chair Caroline Wehrle who has acted as caretaker chair for the past few months after former Chair, Jane Hamilton, returned to her native Australia earlier this year.
Nick has been a non-executive director (NED) board member of NHSPS since 2021, helping to develop the organisation’s strategy and currently chairs the Customer and Remuneration Committees. He combines this role with being the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the MS Society. Nick has a wealth of experience within the NHS, previously as CEO at King’s College Hospital and Royal Surrey Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, and currently serves on the Board at Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care System.
Nick will work closely with DHSC to steer the direction of NHSPS, collaborating with customers, Integrated Care Systems and local authorities as the NHS estate evolves to ensure healthcare facilities meet the needs of the future. Key areas of focus will remain supporting ICSs with their estate strategies, improving utilisation and creating healthy places.
Nick said: “After working closely with NHSPS over the last three years I am very much looking forward to this new challenge. As a Board, we are committed to helping the Executive team deliver on the new strategy and have a vast array of experience and expertise to help support the organisation through the next phase of its life.
“We also have a new, ambitious Government, committed to creating an NHS fit for the future and we are well positioned to help support them deliver on this ambition.”
Meanwhile, Ian Playford also joins NHSPS as a Non-Executive Director, bringing with him extensive experience of the property and health sectors.
Currently Chair of Kingsbridge Estates Ltd and board advisor to Ashfield Land, Ian has held roles as Group Property Director for Kingfisher Plc, Parkridge Holdings, King Sturge (now JLL) and Aviva. He also brings significantgGovernment and health sector experience having been responsible for setting up the Government Property Agency and NED roles at Queen Victoria Hospital Trust, East Grinstead and Guys and St Thomas’s Foundation Trust.
Ian said: “I’m very pleased to be joining NHSPS and look forward to helping shape the next exciting phase for the business. We will continue to support the wider NHS by helping customers reduce costs, optimise their estate, and access funding more effectively, unlocking value and helping to deliver excellent patient care.”

Flexible workspace provider infinitSpace has made three new senior appointments as part of its ongoing global expansion. Founded by workspace expert Wybo Wijnbergen (CEO) and his brother, serial tech entrepreneur Wilco Wijnbergen (CTO), infinitSpace has launched nine workspace locations across two continents and four countries since March 2022. Their plan is to grow to 100 locations by December 2027.
The tech-led creator of workspaces has appointed Richard Axtell as Group Real Estate & Acquisitions Director, Rocco del Campo as Finance Director and Joshua Moulder as Director Sales and Broker Relations Director EMEA.
Richard has over 25 years of flexible workspace experience, working on expansion strategies in companies like Regus and NewFlex. At infinitSpace, he will lead on developing strategic partnerships with real estate institutions to grow the company’s workspace portfolio as its Group Real Estate and Acquisitions Director.
Del Campo has 15 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis across a range of sectors including technology SaaS, FMCG, and retail, which will be instrumental as he takes ownership of infinitSpace’s financial strategy in his new role as Financial Director.
With extensive knowledge of the flexible workspace industry, Joshua began his career in community and facilities management, before transitioning to sales roles, leading departments at Orega, IWG, and Patch. In his new role as Director of Sales and Broker Relations EMEA, Joshua will leverage this experience to drive business growth and occupancy rates across infinitSpace’s portfolio.
