Duncan Scott has been appointed to the Board of Directors at chapmanbdsp, a leading provider of building services and environmental consultancy.
Duncan joined the firm in 2002 as an intermediate mechanical engineer. Since then, he has gained a vast amount of experience over more than twenty years. He has an extensive background in workplace strategy, guiding occupiers in sectors such as legal, financial and tech in terms of real estate strategy and building design.
As well as maintaining exemplary client relationships, his successful track record of strategic leadership makes him a valuable addition to the company’s culture and future growth in both existing and emerging markets. He will also continue to look at process-driven efficiencies, underpinning this with chapmanbdsp’s commitment to sustainable practices, as well as supporting colleagues to reach their full potential in delivering world-class projects.

phs Wastekit has appointed a new National Operations Manager as the business, which is a market leader in waste management solutions, continues to grow. Simon Wells, who joined phs Wastekit in 2017, brings decades of experience in engineering, waste management and environmental technology to his new role.
With over 20 engineers and supervisors under his responsibility, Simon will be running day-to-day operations as well as managing health and safety, customer service, team development and sales team liaison.

He has a meticulous eye for detail and is a fantastic solution finder. phs Wastekit is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of baler and compactor machines, which help businesses reduce their impact on landfill, decrease waste collection costs and free up valuable space. BW: Workplace Experts has promoted Kevin P’ng to Managing Director. He will work alongside joint managing director, Peter Nagle, as part of the senior leadership team managing the fit-out firm’s strategy for growth.
Kevin’s transition to the role of managing director follows an 11 year tenure at BW: Workplace Experts where he has held positions including commercial director and chief commercial officer. Speaking about his promotion, the business comments that Kevin’s flourishing career at BW: Workplace Experts has equipped him with the valuable insights, commercial acumen and relationships needed to seamlessly move into the role.

This announcement follows the recent announcement of the firm’s strong financial results, reporting a £200.1m turnover this year with a pre-tax profit close to £3m. With reported Net Assets of £20,042,623, this secures BW: Workplace Experts as one of the strongest in the industry. By the end of 2024, turnover is forecast to exceed last year’s £216.3m by 15% to reach £250m, and then grow to £275m in 2025.

Churchill Group has appointed the vastly experienced Eddie Fairish as chief growth officer. Fairish joins Churchill Group from ISS UK&I and has worked for major brands including Aramark, Britvic and Mars.
