Read Full ArticleFlexible workplace provider Office Space in Town has been named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023 list in the Small Organisation category.
Office Space in Town (OSiT) currently has six serviced offices across London including Liverpool Street, Monument, St Paul’s and Farringdon, Waterloo and Blackfriars.
The company was praised for giving its staff pay rises, and providing other team benefits including training courses spanning academia to life skills, private health care and monthly social events. Team members are also able to access the onsite gyms, gaming rooms and reflections spaces OSiT residents enjoy across their portfolio of buildings.
The flexible workplace provider's vision for serviced office space incorporates a “work hub” model, which emphasises collaboration and career development through face-to-face contact. Its uniquely designed themed meeting rooms are accompanied by gyms, bars, rooftops, arcade machines and even hotel rooms. The spaces are quirkily designed, with whimsical themes such as “Alice in Wonderland” encouraging a fun atmosphere for visitors.
Georgia Sandom, Operations & ESG Director at OSiT, said: “Receiving this award from The Sunday Times validates all the hard work we have put in to make OSiT the brilliant place to work it is today. Although we have been recognised in this prestigious list, there is still always more to be done and we have some fantastic ideas in the pipeline for the future.”
Simon Eastlake, Managing Director at OSiT, added: “We are delighted to have been included in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023 and be recognised on such a high-profile stage. As a family-run company set up by siblings Giles and Niki Fuchs, we have ensured an ethos of family and support is present across the entire business. We truly believe that treating employees right is the first step to success and acting on this belief has served us very well so far.
“Implementing these methods has built great loyalty amongst our workforce, with several employees staying with us from the reception desk to General Manager positions. This award gives us confirmation of our proficiency in this area and also motivation to continue to strive for an excellent culture.”
