The Workplace Event to Replace The Facilities Event

The Workplace Event to Replace The Facilities Event
07 December 2021

The Workplace Event will take place on 5-7 April 2022 at the NEC Birmingham and will build on the foundations laid by The Facilities Event.

The exhibition, organised by Nineteen Group, will showcase the latest insights and innovations in workplace experience and facilities management. It aims to bring together practitioners to share their learnings and expertise in how the design of workspaces, technology and experiences can drive better organisational outcomes.

“The industry has evolved considerably over the last few years,” explained Tristan Norman, Group Director of Nineteen Group. “And we are thrilled to develop our event to reflect that. The last two years have seen the rise of hybrid working and increased flexibility, and the workplace has been at the forefront of making this transition a success. The Workplace Event will be the go-to place for everyone who wants to stay ahead of the game in these exciting and challenging times.”

The event will be co-located with its sister-shows: The Health & Safety Event, The Fire Safety Event, The Security Event and National Cyber Security Show. It will feature a main exhibition space, where visitors will be able to learn about the latest developments in every part of workplace experience and facilities management, from CAFM to catering, cleaning to security, health and wellbeing to interiors and more.

Beyond this, however, the show will showcase brand new features and innovations, including:

The Knowledge Hub

This will be the centrepiece of the entire show, where some of the leading figures and organisations from across the industry will explain the trends that are shaping workplace experience. A three-day programme has been developed so that visitors can learn about how employee expectations are shifting, the digitisation of the workplace, sustainable workplaces, hybrid working and more.

The Wellbeing Recharge Zone

At the intersection of The Workplace Event and The Health & Safety Event visitors will find a village called The Wellbeing Recharge Zone. This is a space where both visitors and exhibitors can come to rest and restore themselves with interactive wellbeing initiatives, quiet spaces, and the opportunity to speak to leaders in the field about how workplace wellbeing can make a difference to organisations.

Tristan added, “It’s been an intense couple of years for everyone involved in the workplace industry. As such we’re delighted to be introducing the Workplace Event and providing the community with the opportunity to share knowledge, thought leadership and experiences with the rest of the profession. We’ve tailored our content and programme to make sure that the event is the best place to keep on top of all the key developments in the sector, and we can’t wait to welcome the community to Birmingham.”
