Win tickets to ThisWeekinFM's Summer River Boat Party with The Savortex Washroom Challenge.

We recently announced that Savortex (hand dryers) had issued a  Washroom Challenge to beat its cost saving record with the chance to win tickets to ThisWeekinFM's Summer River Boat Party.

Savortex, the multi-award winning hand dryer manufacturer, is challenging facilities managers to beat its 2017 cost saving record.

Last year, RBS achieved a 70% saving, which is approximately £35,000 per year, when the company chose to install the EcoCurve Smart Dryer range.

To set a new record for 2018, Savortex is inviting facilities managers to simply complete an online business case calculator (Click Here), which takes just 10 minutes. The report will state the estimated energy, cost and resource savings that can be achieved by installing the EcoCurve Smart Dryer range.

How to enter

The company is so confident that businesses will make savings of more than 70%, that they are giving away tickets for ThisWeekinFM's Summer River Boat Party (July 12) to the first five reports that are emailed to info@savortex.com by 1st of April 2018.

The range

Savortex now boasts three smart dryers in its range – the EcoCurve 550A, 550D and adDryer. Each dryer uses a patented energy recovery and curved air delivery technology which results in a 66% energy savings compared to any other dryer on the market, says the company and up to 97% savings when compared to using paper towels.

Not only that, the EcoCurve 500D Smart Dryer also incorporates four additional sensors, which reports live usage to an online portal and facilitates wireless alerts to washroom cleaners based on actual footfall.

Plus, the company partnered with Intel to launch the adDryer, the world’s first IoT-enabled hand dryer. The system includes a digital screen that can deliver tailored, high-definition video messages to users, which can be used for internal marketing or as an additional revenue stream.

Why the competition?

Syed Ahmed, CEO at Savortex, said: “Businesses are under a great deal of pressure to reduce costs and improve sustainability. The aim of the competition is for the Savortex EcoCurve range to exceed our clients cost savings expectations and for the company to set new records. I would encourage everyone to take just 10 minutes to complete the calculator to see how much they could save and enjoy a fantastic night on the Thames at ThisWeekinFM's Summer River Boat Party.”

On the record

The efficiency of the range is so substantial that the company was awarded a Guinness World Record for drying the most hands using just 30kj of energy – the average dryer uses between 70kj and 90kj of power to dry just one hand. So far the company has deployed thousands of hand dryers internationally and are currently being used by RBS, Shell, Honda, and L’Oréal.

To find out how much you could save wheter you enter the competition or not, simply Click Here to go to the business case calculator.
