• Annie Dean Joins CBRE to Lead Building Experience Lab

Workplace experience specialist Annie Dean has been appointed by CBRE to lead its newly formed CBRE x Industrious Building Experience Lab. 

Annie will also serve as Global Chief Strategy Officer for CBRE’s Building Operations & Experience business segment, to enable insights and products developed in the lab to be implemented in partnership across the CBRE platform.

Before joining CBRE, Annie led Atlassian’s real estate and workplace experience divisions and oversaw a teamwork lab researching modern work trends. Prior to that, she was a commercial real estate attorney on Wall Street and later led a portfolio of future of work policies at Meta.

CBRE acquired flexible workplace provider Industrious National Management Company in January 2025. The building experience lab will combine Industrious’ real world workplace data with CBRE’s workplace strategy consulting practice.
