FM service provider Atalian Servest has confirmed its sale to a private investment firm and that it will be merged with OCS.

Private Equity Firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice plans to merge the two companies to create a global facilities management platform over the next twelve months. Atalian Global Services’s UK, Ireland and Asia operations, along with its specialist automotive division Aktrion have been sold as part of the deal.

Atalian Servest is a UK-based facilities management service provider that is part of the wider ATALIAN group, which has a group turnover of almost €3 billion, and employs 131,000+ employees across 36 countries.

OCS Group is an international facilities management company, with a £1 billion annual turnover, employing over 72,000 people. It was acquired by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in December 2022.

Rumours of the proposed merger have been circulating since May 2022 after Sky News revealed that the three companies were in talks.

Atalian’s Group CEO Rob Legge will become Group CEO of the newly merged businesses.

A statement from Atalian Servest states that further communication on the company’s ambition and vision will be shared in the coming weeks.
