• Engie Solutions Lands Extended Uptown Tower Dubai FM Contract

Engie Solutions has signed a new agreement to provide FM services at the iconic Uptown Tower Dubai.

The extended three-year contract includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems management and specialised technical services. Engie Solutions will also implement its Smart O&M technology platform and conduct  ASHRAE Energy Audits free of charge.

The operator has pledged to achieve a 10 per cent reduction in energy consumption at the site. 

Owned and developed by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), the 81-storey tower features 22 floors of premium Grade A commercial office space. The building has an LEED Gold status in the globally recognised sustainability framework, and won a RoSPA Gold Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, in recognition of the major focus on health and safety during the construction.

In May 2024, the tower won the “Award of Excellence for Best Tall Building” and the “Award of Excellence for Construction” from the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
